As an example, here is a story from KT Tape fan Peter on how he spreads the word about KT Tape:
I have been running for about two years now had had some major knee pain while doing so. I have been to many doctors and tried many different products to help: I have changed my running sneakers 4 different times and I have tried different socks, I have changed my stride and even had my gate looked at several different times. This has all worked a little bit to help with the discomfort, but not enough. I was in Orlando,Florida for the Disney Marathon this past Jan 2011 and was talking to a fellow runner, and they told me to stop by the KT Tape booth and have them tape up my knee to see how it worked. So I went over to the booth and talked to the KT Tape folks, and they said it should work well to alleviate my pain.
Well let me tell you……. It work not well…..It worked AMAZING! I shaved 7 mins of my time and I did not have any pain at all until about mile 9. It usually starts a mile 1. The pain I did have was so little that when I was driving home from the event I went and stopped at the Local Dick’s Sporting Goods and picked up some more tape, and I have been running with it every day. I keep a roll in my car when I go to events so that way if I am talking to people who ask me, “What is that on your knees?” I can tear off a few strips and pass them on to help a fellow runner get an amazing pain-free run. Thank you KT Tape and thank you to the runner who told me to go to the KT Tape booth- it helped to make me run near to pain free again.
Thanks, Peter! Can’t wait to hear stories from all of our fans!

I have tendinitis in my right shoulder. I played cymbals fir the University of Arkansas Razorback Maching Band. We do Pre-game performances on Saturdays. We would roll up our sleeves for the performances so everyone would ask what that cool lookin’ thing on my should was. I would say “KT Tape….the best stuff in the world!” also, whenever a friend of mine has an injury I immediately suggest KT Tape! This stuff really is amazing!
I played soccer all my life. I still play Semi-Pro Ball and do a bunch of half marathon and trail running. I was the kid who always lived by the rule tape it up and play. Now at 32 I have ankles that have 2 unhealed sprains, a chip bone, ligament damage and arthritis My hip flexors are both damaged.
I came across KT Tape at a marathon expo and was curious because I’ve seen these bright strips on some of my favorite soccer players. I got KT taped up almost 2 yrs ago and have been hooked ever since.
I learned how to tape myself up from the great instructional vids on their site. Now for every training session, every game and every run I am KT taped. I love this product because it still gives you the mobility w/ the stability w/out the worry. Thanks for the great product guys.
I tore up my arch on a rocky/snowy/icy trail run in Rothrock State Parkback in March. I work for Penn State Athletics and many of the athletes I work with use KT Tape. After having the trainer from one of my teams work on my foot and give me some exercises, I decided to try KT Tape for when I’m at the gym and running. It’s been AMAZING. I participated in Tough Mudder Pa. a month later and wore KT Tape in neon green to match my team’s shirts and our gym’s logo colors. I had many people ask what it was and I had nothing but wonderful things to say. It survived all 11 miles of mud, rocks and freezing water and I felt almost no pain or strain.
I’ve since used it for shin splint pain and it’s helped alleviate much of that pain when they’re acting up. I love how long it lasts and have suggested it to many people from my gym. I know many people who have since begun using it and have felt immediate relief. I look forward to wearing it to Warrior Dash in June and during any other races I enter this summer!
Thanks for a great product…not to mention all the great colors it comes in!
I am a 27 yr old male in good shape (I think) I recently was involved in a car accident that caused some broken and bruised ribs. I was on the passenger side of my friend’s car coming back from the gym when a guy runs a red light and T BONES us dead center of the car. I took the whole impact and now I am recovering from multiple broken ribs. And to top it off, a few days later from the accident I took a fall and tore muscle fibers on my oblique. (same side as my fractured ribs) imagine the PAIN I was in. Thats when i had a picture in my head of the joggers and bike riders I would encounter on my morning jogs. I would see these elastic bands stuck and contoured to a body part for support. I bought a couple of rolls and went through the tutorials. IMMEDIATELY after applying I felt relief. I recently started going back to the gym to get back on track and yes, I was asked “what is that stuff?” I told my fellow gym goers, KT TAPE, and explained how GREAT of a product it was and they knew how fast I was recovering. Now KT TAPE is part of our gym and I see multiple people wearing this amazing product when they overtrain a muscle. Every now and then I get a nod & a smile from my gym buddies while wearing KT TAPE as if they were saying “thanks for introducing this GREAT product to me”. Thanks KT TAPE for aiding me in a fast recovery from a traumatizing accident.
I first found out about KT Tape after an elbow injury and they had taped me at physical therapy. It helped relieve a lot of the pain I was having so I could get a good night’s sleep.
I have ITB and patella problems which hindered my running. Both stopped me cold in several marathons. That is, until I discovered KT tape! Now I am a pro at taping up both knees and can run my half and full marathons PAIN FREE!
Get this tape. You’ll wonder why you didn’t find it sooner.
I started using KT Tape after seeing them at the 2010 Philly Marathon. I had developed plantar fasciitis two months earlier and had been struggling running, dropping from the full marathon to the half. They taped me up and I ran the half with no pain at all for the first time in months. I wore the tape on every long run from that time on, even after my plantar had healed to help prevent recurrence. Members of my training group became familiar with the pink tape running up my leg. I loved racing and hearing people point it out. Some would ask me what it was but often I would interrupt them (they were probably surprised I heard) and sing your praise. This spring I started having some issues with my achilles and pulled out the tape, and once again, it worked its magic. It is my favorite go to that I will always keep on hand. I even campaigned my local running store to stock it!
I found KT Tape via a friend of mines blog. She posted a picture of herself before her half marathon with it on her knee. I asked that very same question… “What is that?!” She told me, I went and bought some, and have worn it ever since! I ran my first 5k on the 14th and was asked several times what the bright pink stuff was on my leg, and I told them that it was miracle tape! I proceeded to tell them about how, the very first time it was applied, I walked into the bedroom limping because of the strain on my Achilles, and I walked out with pep in my step!
I started using KT tape a few years ago when i was having very bad knee issues and was still determined to run a race, i saw a booth at an expo and i am hooked. I share the word almost weekly about it. I am physical training leader, and its at least once a week for the past 2 years that a new injury comes up for at least one person in the group. luckily for almost every injury comes a KT tape relief
. I always have a spare box in my gym bag, it helps to make sure everyone in the group can participate and it helps when getting a doctor’s appointment can take a few weeks. I also love to talk to people at expo’s in line and when i see them walking around with the big braces, I like to explain how in many istances it can replace the big brace, I have seen so many people say it works even better than the brace that their doctors perscribe them. I do like to get more people talking about the facebook, it has the best information if you ask me. It has the people asking questions for almost every problem. And it is always interesting to see the responses from Joe and steve and the pictures so you know you are doing it correctly. I love KT tape! and I cant wait til its in stores near me!
I spread the word about KT all the time! I wore it while training for my 60 mile walk and also during the walk. People would say “What is that stuff you are wearing?!” Once they heard about my lack of injuries and pain, they were sold!
My wife and I found KT tape at the Las Vegas Rock & Roll marathon. We were a bit banged up from training for our first race and the trainer at the expo taped us up. He also help support a nagging shoulder problem that I had given up hope on. The support from the tape finally let me sleep comfortably.
The first time I ever heard about KT Tape was on an Active.com Facebook post. I made a post regarding a plantar fasciitis issue and was seeking advice from others on how best to deal with this debilitating condition. I had been to 2 doctors and physical therapy who also prescribed orthotics for $200 with no relief. I had only a month until my first 1/2 marathon in which I had planned to travel several states away and invested lots of money to do this particular race. Another Facebook user suggested I try this magical tape, and said that it would probably help me run pain free. Well, at first I thought “this person must be nuts”! How could tape help my heel possibly feel better. I was very skeptical. I waited for about a week after “looking into it” before I finally decided to give it a try. I was desperate! I checked out the online “how to” videos for instruction. I tried two different applications within a week and the second application was the CHARM! I was able to run my race that I worked so hard training for pain free. Since that time I have used KT Tape for both knees and my other foot as well. I recently started have a little achilles tendon pain and plan to use it on that too! Thank you KT Tape! My go to product!
I am an over 40 female and I was never an athlete growing up. I am not a runner, but I enjoy adventure racing and running is a part of it. I had to take a 2 year break (after only racing for two years) for work reasons. I’ve spent more than a year trying to train only to have shin splints keep me from any real success. I first experience this kind of tape when at PT used it on a torn muscle in my calf. It worked amazingly well. I have no doubt that it sped up my recovery.
I have thought for a while that the tape would help with my shin splints and finally did some research online and found KT tape. I could not be more pleased with the entire experience. First of all it is easily accessible as it sold in several stores as opposed to having to order it online. It’s very affordable to what I was expecting to pay. And the “how-to” videos really made the application easy for me. Not to mention that it worked wonders for me!!!!
I did get a few funny looks but it is well worth the price for feeling so good during and after my run training. Thanks KT Tape!
heard it through my physio, been in athletics weekly and in my expo at the excel arena before the london marathon
I had trained for 6months for a marathon, but I had so much knee pain,I decided against it. I went to the expo to get my shirt, since I had paid for it. There was a KT booth with trainers taping people’s injuries. I tried it and finished all 26.2 miles! Thanks KT
I coach a high school rowing team. We had a couple of athletes with injuries this season. Nothing seemed to work for them. Then we tried KT tape. Worked like magic!!! Section Champions, 3rd in the State & off to Nationals two weeks w/ KT in tow!!!!
I’m a 31yrs female from Montreal, I’m an avid cyclist, swimmer but loving doing all different types of sports. For the past 10months I’ve been recovering from a terrible case of quadriceps tendentious due to VERY tight ITBS. Therefore, I couldn’t ride or squat for over 10 months. Thankfully, while doing some physical therapy my therapist used some kinesthetic taping on me and after about a day or so, I could feel a difference in my ITBS. So being that I work in the online industry, I scoured the internet to find the best kinesthetic tape at a reasonable price and long behold -KT tape came out on top. KT tape has been a god sent, I use it while I train and recover and while I get some strange looks for people when walking along, may people are curious to know if the taping works and my response is a resounding – YES!!! I”m the first one to joke about being “held together with tape” but its true so thanks KT!!
I started running again after my 4th baby and had shin splints really bad while trying to train for a 1/2 marathon and my husband suggested trying KT tape. I really didn’t think that it would work and I was very happy with how much it help reduce the pain in my shins. My husband uses it all the time! He is training for his first Ironman and we watch the videos and use the KT tape on his IT-band and lower back or shoulder before his long training sessions and it works wonders! Thanks KT tape!
I first heard about KT tape watching our wonderful Olympic volleyball team. But my first experience with it was when my 10 yr old’s physical therapist put it on her for Achilles Tendonotis. I’ve been buying it ever since and my oldest daughter uses it for dance aches and pains.
Back in March I rolled my ankle on a speed workout which in turn put pressure on my right knee making it painful to run. This happened about a week before a 10K race that I was training for. Not wanting to pull out of the race I decided to try KT Tape based on an article I read in one of my magazines. I first tried it in a run a couple days before the race and I must admit that this stuff really works. I taped up my knee on race day and let it hang out on the 10K…I PR’d by a minute with no knee pain. This stuff is miracle tape!
I first saw KT Tape when I was looking for something to help ease the pain of shin splints. (OUCH!) When I saw it, I picked it up, gave the box a good reading or two and put it back down, because I was skeptical about how a pretty bright pink athletic tape would a) actually work and b)stay on for more than just a few hours without me realizing it was there. So I nicely put the box where I found it, and bought a shin splint support instead (bad mistake). I got home and was so excited to see what this support would do, after about 10 minutes I had to take it off, I couldn’t stand it, it was uncomfortable. The next day I went straight to the store returned the “support” and made a bee line for the KT Tape knowing I was making the decision I should have made in the first place.
I finally got home with the right thing, aka my bright pink KT Tape and read up on, I mean I really did my research before picking the right application. As soon I put it on I felt relief, but yet it felt like there was nothing, it truly feels like second skin. I tell people at work and at the gym who are just as into working out as I am about my issues and how they’ve been resolved through the use of KT Tape. They are amazed and they love the funky colors just as much as I do, although there are some who prefer the plain jane colors.
I <3 KT TAPE!
First saw KT Tape on fellow yogaslackers. Was quickly convinced after the tape was applied to an elbow injury of my own. Now I sometimes feel like a walking commercial for the stuff. I always have some with me and am constantly pushing it on my injured friends. Thanks KT Tape!!!
Dick’s sporting store manager suggested i try it when i told him about ultra marathon im training for ,love it! I havent had any knee pain since
Well i first saw the tape on Keri Walsh during s volleyball tournament on tv then my sister started using it for her shoulder injury. So I thought if it helped her shoulder for volleyball it would help mine so I started trying the shoulder and neck tape job since I hurt them both freshman year in college and it has helped ever since I don’t play without it !
Using KT tape on myself for years has made me appreciate recovery and the health benefits of healing. Clients of mine have been taped for hamstring injuries, elbow, wrist and shoulder strains and pains, pre – and post competition and they’ve all remarked on improved performances.
Improved mobility in and out of the gym, running for plantar fascia strain or pain has helped by using the KT Tpe. Shin splints and calf strains have improved using it in conjunction with icing on all taped areas.
Inkeep a few rolls in my bag just in case I have to use it on one of my clients or myself. You just never know. Accessory? Nope, necessity Yes.
Thank you for your product and follow through in Teaching many coaches, athletes and lay people on the application and benefits of using KT Tape.
After injuring my ankle in 2009, I wanted to look for a tape that can prevent me from another injury. As my season started to progress, I began to have shoulder and neck pain. My trainer suggested KT. So I walked into Sports Authority and there it was… a huge pile of KT tape. It was like a match made in heaven! Ever since, I keep a rolls (yes, plural) in my tennis bag!
I’ve been doing triathlons for 3 years now. Earlier this year I got shin splints for the first time. They were SO painful. I went to the doctor and he just told me I had to stop running for a while and that I need to not run such long distances every day. I was really bummed about that. I have a friend that lives in Washington and she suggested I try KT Tape. I went right out to Sports Authority and bought a couple of rolls of KT Tape. Oh my gosh, I honestly couldn’t believe it!!! KT Tape is what helped me get through dealing with my shin splints. Now if I ever hear any body say anything about shin splints or muscle pain, the first thing out of my mouth is they need to get KT Tape and I go on to tell them my experience with KT Tape. I now have another triathlon tomorrow and my quads are kind of hurting, so I’m going to go home & tape up with KT Tape and I know I will be pain free tomorrow for my race. Thank you KT Tape.
LOVE LOVE LOVE KT tape. Recommended to me by a friend. I had killer shin splints. Without Kt tape I wouldn’t be able to run in the 10 k race this weekend!
I ran my first Half Marathon with KT Tapes taped by Joe at Arizona this January. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis but didn’t have pain during and after the race. Others younger (I am 45) healthier peopole were complaining pain after the race. I spread the words at RA Patients Group at the Hospital for Special Surgery and other RA Patient’s FB Pages.
After playing Division I basketball in college, and after four knee surgeries including ACL repair using a graft from my patellar tendon, my knee was a serious wreck. Which is a real shame, because I love any and all athletics. After years of running, tennis, pick up basketball, my knee could take no more. I had always iced it and cared for it with a depth of love as deep as my nurturing mother- of-four’s heart could provide. And still…age and overuse had nearly left me with nothing upon which to grind out my frustrations. I picked up moutainbiking, thinking that the mix of low impact and throwing myself over roots, rocks, and log piles would give me what I needed. After a couple of years of riding and racing locally, my patellar tendon was no longer responding to ice and Advil. Around the time that I was considering selling off my bike for parts, my mother met a women at her bank who was a roadie and after a bit of conversation this woman told my mother that “KT tape was the only thing keeping her on the bike”. I tried it. Now I have a road bike and two mountain bikes and I can ride for hours without pain, tearing up the trails or road, hanging with the guys…and all without waking up in the middle of the night in pain cursing my surgeon, the chick who leveled me, the guy whom I was trying to impress in the stand when I tore the ACL in the first place. I can play tennis, run full court basketball with the 7th gradeAAU basketball team I coached…all pain free. It has been a life changer for me and I thank you.
Hey Guys- Its Peter from the testamonial up top. I just wanted to let you all know that when you can find a product that you love and can change your life make sure you pass it on to all that you can. RUN safe, RUN often, Run with KT Tape!
-Peter
I first experienced kinesiology tape at my chiropractors, who I was seeing for numerous different issues including runners knee, sore back and plantar faciitis. It seemed to help my knee a bit so when I came across KT Tape on sale I decided to pick up a roll and see if I could tape myself. I decided to try it on my PF first and it was amazing how great my foot felt the next morning. I rushed back to the store and picked up 4 more rolls in all different colors and some for my friends. I ended up mentioning to my chiropractor how well it worked on my foot and she said she would try it on her other patients with PF. I used it all through my first triathlon season and felt great. Some days I forgot I was wearing KT Tape when I was walking my dog or at the store until I noticed people staring at me. People have stopped me and asked what it was and how it works, some noting they’ve seen the tennis pros wearing it on TV. Since I’ve started using it I have recommended it to all my friends and family with different aches and pains.
My wife and I found KT tape at the Phx Rock & Roll marathon. The trainer at the expo taped us up. He also help support a nagging Elbow problem that I had given up on. The support from the tape finally gave me back my fastball and now playing full time again …..THANKS.
I found out about KT Tape at this years WDW Marathon. The good guys at KT had a booth at the runner’s expo and my boyfriend’s mom was eager to get taped. While waiting in line I was conned into doing it as well, mainly I think because people were tired of me complaining so much about how bad my knee hurt (I had been complaining for about 3 months!). I was wearing jeans so the KT folks gave me these stylish gym shorts to go change into, which my boyfriend found to be hilarious and promptly took a picture to post on Facebook. I was a little leery about how “tape” could make my knee better, but it was free and free is one of my favorite words. Within an hour I had experienced less knee pain than I had in months! I ran the 5K and walked around Disney for 4 days with no knee pain at all. I was AMAZED.
Now every time I hear a friend or co-worker complaining about some ache or pain, I automatically just tell them to go buy a roll of KT Tape. They look at me with the same level of skepticism that I gave the KT guys at the booth in Orlando, but after hearing me ramble on about how amazing it is they promise to give it a try. Perhaps they give it a try just so I will quit telling them how amazing it is, but no matter if they buy a roll and feel the same relief I did, then it is totally worth it!
I think of my KT Tape as going bold and spredin’ the word. I have issues with my left arch and instead of wearing the nude color, why not bright yellow or green! I get asked in church even what’s up thanks to the cool colors and I can share how KT Tape allows me to still train for a tri or 5k+ while protecting myself. Best stuff ever!
KT Tape is Chuck Norris wearing Old Spice. It can do anything and much more, twice. Any questions?
I’ve never tried KT Tape. I made the switch to ultras last year and completed my first 50 miler this spring. As a less than spring chicken runner, I am learning I can and should be open to all the great products that can help me stay successful and injured as I make my attempt to go even longer. I’ve got my eyes on a 100. Maybe KT Tape can help me get there!
My boyfriend got a roll right before my first marathon. Good thing he did because it was just the right support to bring me to a near BQ. Afterwards I we went on a vacation to Cancun and wore KT tape every day for that week. Still have the tan lines to prove it! Don’t know how I would have been able to get around without it. Needless to say, everyone in Cancun was curious what was on my knees while I was in a Bikini on the beach. So did a ton of PR work for KT Tape!
This tape is a real magic tape!
The first time I saw it was when I was watching a match of the Volleyball Champions league and a player was wearing it on his knee, and I was always wondering what it was… Next thing I knew I injured my ankle, tried everything from lymph dreinage to different ankle braces, creams, different massages, but nothing worked… So I went to see our club physiotherapyst who intoduced me to the “magic tape”! At first I wasn’t a believer, but at the first training being taped, I could feel the difference, the pain was almost gone, the support to my ankle was fantastic, and it reduced swelling, and so I’m still taping my ankle for every training and match, and just last week, KT Tape helped me to become National Youth Vice champions with my volleyball team!
And now I always have a roll of tape at home, and I already taped my parents for lower back pain, my aunt for neck pain, some of my teammates for shin splints, general knee pain, and I actually taped my coach(who also plays for the senior team of our club) for a quad strain, and every one was just shocked how this makes wonders, every one was pain free, and every one of them are now proud KT Tape users, and I tend to use KT Tape when I go out during the day, so people see it and then they come to me for some tape if they have any pain, so that’s how im spreading the word!
Hi my name is David and I’m a tennis player that plays college tennis so you know the level of competence that this is and how often you have pains or injuries, I have been using KT tape since this year that i discovered in sports authority and i think this tape is great for everything, and actually I am in my hometown in Colombia and i brought some tape with me and i really talk about it all the time telling my personal experience with KT tape and how it help me to play every match to my 100%. I’m spreading the word around the world!!!
I have tendonitis in my right thumb (Dequarvein’s) I use KT tape after my physical therapist thought it would help me out. When people notice the taping they are often shocked or think I am seriously injured I tell them no this is what will save me from having a second round of surgery and allows me to be back in martial arts and doing Cross stitch and my other needlecrafts. I have also started trying the IT Band and Hip Bursa applications hoping that it will help me. They are often interested in the results. I have extended this even farther by looking for an application to help my 14 yr old dancer deal with ankle issues. The first try worked great and we now have several other dancers asking me to show them what we did. I can just see our June recital tan KT tape will be passed around like crazy.
On the face book page “Run Like a Mother: the Book” They asked what we have at home that keeps us moving and out of pain. KT Tape was my answer!
I love this stuff!
I was on a 2 day charity bike ride and my SI joint was irritated after the first day of 101 miles. I have had problem with SI pain since my pregnancy 4 years ago, but I’m not about to let that stop me from cycling. In the shower line a woman saw me with ice on my left hip/back and offered me some KT tape out of her bag. I was ready to try anything!
She helped tape my SI joint and the pain was immediately gone! I couldn’t believe something so simple worked so quickly! After all the Chiropractic work and pt that has help my SI pain, bicycling still always caused the pain to return. I was so amazed how well the KT tape worked! The next day 80 miles rolled by like nothing, and still the pain hadn’t returned!
When I got back to town I went out and bought two rolls. I also have had surgery for a right shoulder SLAP tear, and now I swim with my shoulder taped and have pain free swimming for the first time since the surgery 2 years ago!
I always have a spare roll in my gym bag, and have turned my Tri team on to all the great applications of KT tape. My 4 year old daughter loves to help by rubbing the paper on the tape to create friction for the adhesive. I taped my 60 year old mom for medial knee pain and she loves it! Next thing I know my 61 yr old dad was cutting the grass with his knee (old football injury that has bugged him most of his life) taped as well! We are now a KT tape family!
I am a retired speedskater. I’ve had many crashes on the ice, some really bad ones that left my knees always aching. I took up a running challenge with my husband to run the full Pittsburgh Marathon. My long runs were so painful in training that I only got up to 12 miles before race day-not enough.
Then I saw you at the expo and decided to give it a try. If it didn’t work, I could take if off.
Well, not only did it work, but I had NO knee pain for 26.2 miles!! I was shocked!! Will forever use your product…& I did get that question on the course over & over & my response each and every time- “THE best sport support tape EVER!!”
Thank you so much!! As an active aging athlete, you have allowed me to still be able to play & be competitive!!
I get asked about this stuff all the time! I found out about KT Tape when I first watched the 2010 Olympics, and I could never find any in my area, until one day when I found a supplier where I was living! When I moved, the first thing I did was locate a store that sold KT Tape so that I could continue to use it. It helps me with my bad ankle, which I have had such a hard time with. I’ve been known to wear this stuff to work, to swim in, and even to the gym. I’ve even had personal trainers ask me about this stuff! I tell everyone the same thing: it helps me with my ankle and is so comfortable!
I heard about KT tape on a run a few months ago while training for a marathon. Someone mentioned it to me when they realized I was stopping almost every run midway to put on my knee brace. Bulky, uncomfortable, and sweaty. I tried KT tape and fell in love. I tape my knee for almost every run. It’s there if I need it and it gives me peace of mind if I don’t. I work at a sports store and even though we don’t carry KT Tape (yet! I am working on the owners!) I still recommend it to most of the customers. It draws many jokes since my name is KT on my name tag. I tell people I love it so much I just had to change my name! I’m Katie T. (KT) and I love KT TAPE! I buy it in different colors to mix and match my applications so people will notice and ask me about it. I can only imagine how many others in my training group (and customers) have benefited. It’s great and everyone should know about it! So I’ll keep taping and spreading the word, thanks for the great product!
Oh my goodness, do I EVER love this tape!! I am a stay at home mom with MAJOR, constant shin splints. (When I say constant, I mean CONSTANT!) Nothing I did helped even the slightest, and my little ones kept running into my shins, causing sharp pain to shoot through my lower legs. I was so fed up, and the advise from trainers and doctors didn’t seem to work for me…
You have helped me SO much. It’s not just about running, it’s about living!
I started searching online for remedies and eventually came across KT tape. Then I remembered seeing it being used at the olympics! I figured, if it really helps them (and all the people that reviewed it), surely it could at least help a little for me.
So, I bought it. Watched the online tutorials carefully and gave it a try. HOLY COW!!!! It WORKED! I felt this instant relief of pain! I cannot tell you how nice it was to start running again, and to go shopping without feeling like someone was jabbing steak knifes into my shins! And after 5 days, I removed the tape to shave. I was dreading taking the tape off, I didn’t want to experience that pain again. BUT it stayed away for a while! I am no longer in agony over this issue, and can focus on basic, daily chores, raising my children, and exercising the way I like.
I talk about it on facebook all the time, and have friends and random people I don’t know asking me about it. So I get to tell my story and hook them up with the BEST stuff on earth for muscle and joint pain!
Thank you SO much for the opportunity to think about something other then pain, and to share my experience with others!!!! You have made one HAPPY Mamma!
I am a 31 y/o female in decent shape. I skate with a banked track roller derby league in Seattle called The Tilted Thunder Rail Birds. I first came across your product at a roller derby bootcamp in Los Angeles with the Los Angeles Derby Dolls when I sprained an ankle and their doc used two different rolls on me (purple and red for league colors). Since then, I’ve been hooked on KT Tape and keep a bag with me when I’m at the warehouse skating and hitting other girls on my skates. Whenever someone gets a tweaked or sore muscle, I pull the KT Tape out and let them know all about you.
Thanks a bunch.
My KT tape experience is very new, as I just bought my first roll of it this week. I was suffering from shin splints and top of foot pain due to running and while doing research I read suggestions to use KT tape to aid in recovery.
I knew it couldn’t hurt, so I bought some about a week ago and have been religiously wearing it ever since. The instructional videos are fantastic and I am so impressed with how long it stays on. I have both of my legs taped up for shin splits and one foot taped up for TOFP, so I look like I rolled around in bright pink tape and plastered it all over my body!
I had several people ask me about it when I was playing softball and I explained to them how it worked and showed them how I taped up my legs. Also, when I was out to dinner yesterday, a lady at the table next to mine came over and started asking me about it! She said she was in the medical field and saw my legs taped up and was wondering what it was for and if it was helping me. I gushed to her about how it had alleviated so much pain already and was really speeding up my healing process. She took down the name of the tape and said she was going to get some herself the next day.
Also, my boyfriend is going to start using it at the gym he owns because I have told him how much it has been helping me!
I’m a KT tape user for life!
Awsome Tape!
I wear it when I paint for carpel tunnel. my students love the different colors. Right now it is on my foot. I am an artist so I look for any opportunity to stand out. The rainbow of colors helps me to do that. I also carry a roll in my car, my purse, and my art bag. I give them as Christmas presents to family and friends. When I see someone with an injury I suggest it. you chould enclose business cards in your packaging, or put your .com on your tape.
I love your product. It needs to be in everyones firstaid kit.
Early Septemeber last year 4 of us skated across the state of South Dakota to raise money and awareness for the MS society. Right then a goal of mine came true. Day 2 we came across a 23 mile stretch of cross wind, which lead to my shin splints. On the last day (day
a fellow roller derby player flew in to skate across that finish line with us. He had a gift, a roll of KT TAPE, I believe him taping me that day was the only reason I made it across that line 266 miles.
I have since turned on both of my roller derby teams to KT TAPE and it is on the top of our list for Sk8 the State of Nebraska this August.
Thank you.
Sam- too funny, we’re still laughing! Mind if we use your quote sometime? thanks!

Oh darn, I missed this one (I was away from computers, phones, TV’s, and etc for the weekend… on a mountain).
Well, I’ll still comment here simply because I’m always enthusiastically sharing with people about KT tape. For example: after my mountain retreat, I saw a friend who continues to have probs with Plantar Fasciitis. He inquired about what I do to treat my PF, I promptly showed him my beautiful black KT tape application on my foot, and exclaimed “this stuff is AMAZING!” Then, I proceeded to tell him all about where to buy it and the instruction videos on the KT website.
When I bought this most recent roll of KT tape, I told the cashier guy about it (ha! he didn’t even know they had it in the store!)
When I’m at running events, I tell people who have various injuries… “KT tape!!”
My friends with knee or shoulder probs, I tell them… “KT tape!!”
By the way, I’m recovered from the PF injury, but I’m now using KT tape for a different injury (torn tendons on the dorsal anterior part of my foot) that resulted from running on gravel and extensive rocky terrain. I really, really could use a free gift of KT tape!!
Over the past few years I started having knee problems, but have never used KT tape until this last weekend. I ran in a 200.5 mile Ragnar Relay race from Wickenburg, Arizona to Tempe, AZ. I applied the tape at the start line on BOTH knees but did not run till leg 7. From that point on about 20 people went on to walk up to me during the 24 hour race and ask, “What kind of tape is that?.” I responded with, “KT tape and it is AMAZING!” and then the second question, “what does it do?” I was wearing the new reflective tape and one woman asked me (knowing what KT tape was) what kind of tape job it was. I definitely got heads to turn but only because of the tape. And, I even dropped 2 minutes on my mile time!
