Where did you first learn about KT Tape? I found it on line while reseaching ways to Train for my 1/2 Marathon this Oct in S.F. KT Tape is the bomb… woohoo…. it has helped my Achilles Tendon pain
I found KT Tape through online message boards and numerous searches about my tendonitis. KT Tape has helped tremendously! I’m able to workout without pain, finally. Thank you for such a great product!
I found KT Tape when I was searching for an alternative way to give support but without the rigidness of athletic tape. I found KT tape at a Sports Authority and have loved it ever since. Every time I am engage in an activity I am strapped with my KT!
I was searching for a treatment for my knees (both for jumpers knee and chronic dislocations) and found KT TAPE. Found it at Dick’s Sporting Goods, gave it a try, and loved it! It helped me to keep fencing!
I discovered KTTape at the Rock & Roll Expo in Las Vegas, Nv. The guys working the booth were awesome & taped me up very ‘creatively’! Bought 2 rolls & use it on my knee during every race! I am a believer!! Love my neon green tape!
I found KT Tape after watching the 2008 Beijing Olympics. I saw the best athletes in Track and field with funky tape on their bodies that I thought was some cool looking design. I googled soonafter and found out about KT Tape. From then on I use KT Tape during training sessions as well as Track & Field competitions across the country. I never leave home without it.
I found KT Tape when I was searching for possible therapies for severe carpal tunnel pain. I have been using it for the past week and it has been a miracle!
Discovered KT by way of recommendation from a physical therapist friend. Started using it to help an AC joint separation. It is absolutely magical.
I first saw KT Tape when I was watching beach volleyball during the Olympics. But I never really knew anything about it until my oldest daughter suggested I try using it for my hip. She uses it all the time for her knee.
KT Tape has certainly increased my mobility and eased my pain.
It is a fantastic product and I have recommended it to many of my ‘senior’ friends.
I work out and bodybuild… My physical therapist I work with recommended I use KT Tape… its been miraculous especially for my torn hamstring… Happy Fourth of July to everyone.. hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday.. remember thank a soldier and give them a hug or hand shake

I watch a lot of sports on tv and I kept seeing players mostly in beach volleyball and in tennis majors keep wearing this mysterious tape around their shoulders ,knees, elbows etc. So I did my research and found out that it was called “KT Tape”. So I went on the KT Tape website and read all about it and figured since it is sold at my local Sports Authority I would go check it out and buy it. The tape worked for me and I knew what KT Tape was saying on the website was the real deal and other testimonials from other people was really helpful.
I have seen people wearing it on TV and different athletes using the tape. I always thought that it was just a placebo thing. That was until a couple months ago after have a AC joint separation. A friends gave me some to see it would help. I went from being in pain and not being able to surf or play volleyball to being active in both sports again. It has not taken away the pain, but it has stabilized my shoulder so I am in less pain. It was helpful having the video instructions on the KT Tape website.
My trainer introduced me to KT tape just days before my first half marathon. KT saved my knees & my shins!!! I didn’t feel any pain at all during the race! Can’t live without my KT tape!
First heard about and discovered KT Tape at the Rock ‘N’ Roll Mardi GRAS Marathon Expo in New Orleans last February. It was my first 26.2 Marathon and I had a minor sprained ankle from training, causing me to limp around right up to the day before the run. Took the roll of tape back to the hotel and learned how to put it on by watching the demo videos off the KT Tape website–my limp disappeared almost immediately and enabled me to complete the marathon in under 5 hours–amazing stuff, thank you–I’m a fan for LIFE!
I found KT Tape through my triathlon coach/trainer. I have had 2 complete rotar cuff tears in the same shoulder. KT Tape has allowed me to swim farther and bike without pain!
My daughter, who is 8, now asks for it.
I happened across KT tape at my local sports authority 3 weeks before the Chicago Marathon! W/out KT tape I don’t think I would have been able to finish!
I discovered KT Tape when I was looking for a new “magic bullet” to help with my chronic knee pain. After tearing my meniscus twice and a young mindset of refusing to slow down I developed more tightness and discomfort below and behind my knee. While I was looking for new braces at Dick’s Sporting Goods, the worker there suggested KT Tape, and being an active beach volleyball player I knew many of the pros use it so I figured I would give it a try, and let me say…IT ROCKS!
I found KT tape thru web searches. I had a PT use a similar brand tape on a torn muscle in my calf and it worked wonderfully. I was so impressed that I was sure it work on my chronic shin splints. From the KT website I found that I could easily purchase the tape at a local store. Shin Splints Gone!
It was suggested to us by a high school trainer when my daughter was having shoulder problems during swimming/waterpolo and working out. After many other treatments, meds and modified activities…nothing else worked.
It has helped her greatly and allowed to perform to her fullest, making her third straight trip to the state swim championships. I starting using for relief of back spasms…helps me stay away from meds! We easily found it at our local Sports Authority!
I found KT Tape after googling sacroiliac joint pain treatments. I play roller derby and had fallen and sprained that joint. KT Tape really helps with the stiffness and pain and lets me do what I love!!
I found KT tape on the DisBoards (disney message board) in the WISH section. I’m training for my 3rd half marathon; KT tape really helped my knee while I was training for and while I was running in my 2nd half.
Two years ago I was just a junior in highschool who managed to find a calling in athletic training. My teacher/mentor had me intern with Grand Canyon University’s head trainer, Geordie Hackett, to get a feel for the college setting. Soon enough, he showed me KT, and it was well, love at first application. Now I use it for every boo-boo I get from throwing discus/shotput/hammer/javelin, and swear by it as the AZ secondary state champ for sports medicine. Now, to bring the story full crcle, I go to GCU am on the track team and still intern with Geordie, and still use KT for everything, I think my skin permanently has grooves on it from all the tape, not really.
My son runs Marathons and Triathlons…etc. He used it for his injury…and suggested I try it for My knee… for me it’s not a cure BUT has helped a lot with stability..I contacted the website and they sent me info ON how to apply it for my needs…They were great!
I was introduced to KT Tape when I visited my Chiro. for help with runners knee and heel pain. He used KT tape on both, and my next 3 runs were so amazing! I am hooked. My knee is always taped, and various other body parts as needed (shin, calf, heel). KT Tape is the only reason I’m getting my training miles in for my very first half marathon. Thanks!
I actually learned about it from my friend, and fellow KT Tape Facebook fan Kelly! (I won’t put her last name out of privacy.) She is a girl who inures herself pretty much weekly and KT tape has really saved her!
I learned about KT Tape from my daughter Katie who first received a sample in a gift bag at a marathon. I use it mostly for knee pain it’s a BIG help!
I was told about KT Tape last year by my good friend and crazy runner, Pam Rickard. I have been hooked ever since!
Some crazy person recommended to me at an expo for my knee pain and I forgot all about it. When I got really sick of my brace and decided I needed something better I searched all over the internet until I could find it again. Now it’s everywhere I look and I recommend it to everyone!
I first heard about KT Tape at the Vegas Rock and Roll Marathon Expo. I had seen this tape before but I had never knew what it was suppose to do. At the expo they had free samples and I got taped up on my knee. It worked well and I happily PR’d in that race the next day! Thanks KT Tape
I found KT tape for the Olympics, women’s beach volleyball. I thought it was groovy and use KT tape for ITB.
I can’t remember if it was in the SF Marathon or the LV RnR Marathon in ’09. Received a sample and when I walked by the your booth got an explanation of what it was, told them my usual problems when running 26.2, got taped up and was on my way. Have used it since and don’t hesitate in recommending it.
I first saw the idea of KT tape in the Bejing Summer Games with the womans sand volley team.
The first time I used it, I had rolled my ankle packing my car for the MiamiMan tri, and could barely walk around the expo. Saw the rolls of KT tape, and asked the store if they could tape me up, they called Physical Therapist who was there in 20 minutes and got me taped up, and this 310lb Clydesdale was able to complete the tri with a severe ankle sprain due to KT tape.
On of my facebook friends had posted it. My daughter has been running varsity track for 2 years now and has 2 years to go. By the end of the season, her shins are killing her. I showed her KT tape and she is so excited to start using it.
I investigated further and found that she could use it on her back during volleyball season. She should be playing varsity this coming school year and her back has forever bothered her during the season since 6th grade. It bothers her on her serving arm side. She’s been given multiple stretches to do (which help somewhat), she’s been told to roll around on tennis balls, they’ve worked on her serve (lightening it up so she doesn’t have so much force in it) and her back still bothers her. I told her we’ll get some for volleyball. She’s pretty pumped….she’s thinking she can put the power back in if her back doesn’t bother her so much. We’ll see…..
My husband Mark is where I found KT tape. Mark is a ultra runner and lives in KT tape. He always has at least 2 boxes here in the house and always keeps a box in drop bags just incase. I started having shin pain when running so Mark taped me up and no more pain. Since then it has helped me get through 4 half marathons. I have taped shins, knees, plantars, and ankles. I’m going to try the carpel tunnel just as soon as I watch the video. I’ll be tped again on monday, have a 4 miler on the 4th! Everyone stay safe and enjoy the tape! The holiday too! LOL
I had seen Kerri Walsh wearing something on her arm in the Olympics, and had heard people talking about what it was – but was still clueless. I ran the New York Marathon in ’09 w/ Achillies Tendonitis – in a lot of pain, after months of PT. Was scheduled to run the Goofy Challenge, just after, and decided to grin and bear it, then take time off. At the Disney Marathon Weekend Expo, I stumbled across a long line of people waiting to get “taped”. I decided, what the heck, and got in line. After running the 1/2 w/o achilies pain for the first time in almost 6 months, I went back and got my runner’s knee taped for the full. I ran and finished 39.3 miles pain free! I have used it religiouly ever since on any ache or pain as a preventative mesure and if anything is bothering me. I swear by it!!!
KT tape is magical…I mean, I know there is scientific reason as to how it and why it works, but I didn’t understand how amazing it was until I finally let my LITTLE sister tell me how I could feel better. Molly (My sister) had seen Kerri Walsh wearing it and had her PT incorporate it into her treatment for her back. My personal problem is my shoulder…and problem 8 years in the works steaming from many years of swimming. As soon as it was applied (all my watching an online video – genious!) I could feel relief. I love this KT tape and will forever be proud to show it off. It gave me comfort, relief, and just a feeling of relaxation. I run, lift and sleep MUCH better now that I finally took the advice from my little sister. I wonder what else she is going to teach me?!
I found KT Tape at the Thunder Road Marathon in Charlotte, North Carolina in December 2009. I had been struggling with inflammed sesmoids and got taped at the expo. Instant relief! Ran the marathon the next day with zero pain, that hadn’t happened since August 2008! I used the tape for all my long runs aferwards and now the area is healed. But I still have a supply, just in case.
Introduced it to my physical therapist and his clinic became one of the first to use it in Phoenix.
1st saw it used by a physical therapist (who used it on my mom during her shoulder surgery PT); knew what it was b/c saw the olympic volleyball players wearing it. I tried it recently for my frozen shoulder.
The VERY first time I saw KT tape was at Sports Authority. I recently just got back into Thai boxing again after taking off almost eight months from ACL surgery. I tore my RIGHT ACL during a sparring session back in August 2010 and had surgery that November. This was the SECOND time I tore the RIGHT ACL. The first time I tore it was back in the in the 90′s playing high school lacrosse.
In my BRIEF comeback attempt, I also saw a guy tranining at the MMA gym with KT Tape on his left knee. I never got a chance to ask him about it, because on 6/22/11 I went down with a LEFT knee injury. Of course, it was during a sparring seession.
I need an MRI done on it in order for my orthopaedic doctor to determine the extent of this new injury. By his physical examination, he doesnt feel that anything is torn at this time.
My LEFT knee feels a little “unstable” right now, but it also feels like it’s improving by the day. I use KT tape on my LEFT knee using the “full” support method. This stuff really works because I leave it on after my morning workouts so I can do my job as a mechanic. This stuff is so sticky it pulled off some hairs! The brace I had been using on it was itchy and rashed up may calf.
Now I haven’t been doing any running or cutting under doctor’s orders. But with KT tape, I’m sure once I do get cleared to, it’s going to give me the support I need.
I have been using KT Tape for the last three (3) years. I am a runner sometimes haveing glute or hamstrings problems. The KT Tape helps to hold the muscle is place when I am racing. I always have some at home….never without.
I know it through searching for new tech for sport taping better from traditional by zinc oxide tape and learned it from kt tape in cairo by instructor from dubai (semir bakijia )
I got KT tape from my Doctor, I can now do my daily 5 mile run without my knee killing me
Well, I had injured my rotator cuff and bicep tendon, and was searching for something to help keep the muscles stable while at work. I could have sworn there were over-the-counter shoulder wraps! but, I was wrong. at the n-teenth store we visited, there was this little box of KT Tape. My husband and I looked at each other, and said let’s give it a try. I’ve been using it ever since. That was a year ago. I now own multiple colors! I only wish there was someone closer to where we live that I could go to to had it “professionally” applied. My husband, though, has been doing quite a great job of it! It took a few times to get it right, but now it’s pretty spot on! LOVE LOVE LOVE this tape.
How could I NOT hear about KT tape when half of the athletes at the CrossFit Sectionals in 2010 were adorned with their “war stripes” on their shoulders, backs, and legs? Ever since then, I see it everywhere. Best advertisement possible!
P.S. now i also use it for my knee. At 35, after 3 knee surgeries, and a round of hyaluronic injections, i’ve been told i need a new knee. KT Tape help keep it stable while i walk, travel, take steps, etc.
I found KT at our local Sports Authority store. I was shopping for shoes I believe when I found it. As with everything, I bought a couple of rolls and researched it when I got home. I have now been using it almost daily with my girls basketball program, using it for everything from shin splints to back pain. It is a must have in our program
I use it for my knee. Got it from my Physio ! Just love it ! Until surgery it does the job ! THANK YOU ! Have a great 4th of JULY !
I strained my shoulder playing volleyball. I needed something to help relieve the pain and keep me moving. Found it searching the isles of the store.
I first learned about KT tape from Bryon Powell’s website – iRunFar. He had a write up about Plantar Fasciitis (which I also had at that time). He described the various treatments and what worked for him, he then had it open for comments from his readers and fellow ultra marathon runners. Comment after comment listed KT tape!!
One reader’s comment included a link to the KT website instructional video for Plantar Fasciitis. I watched it, and went out the next day to get my first roll!!
Wow! I found relief of the plantar fasciitis symptoms the very first time I used it. I could actually return to my training as a long distance runner! Awesome!!
Since then, I’ve had another foot injury in which KT tape came to the rescue (Metatarsal sprain and stress fracture). KT tape is so helpful for runners injuries… I tell everyone about it!! I even told Glenn Caffery about it. He’s running solo 3312 miles for Alzheimer awareness. One of your clinicians is now in contact with him to give personalized KT tape instructions for his ankle and shin injuries!!
I learned about KT Tape back at the San Diego Rock n Roll race a few years back…but I didn’t start using it myself until about a year ago when I injured my hamstring. I am a HUGE fan, as it’s helped me regain my strength and stability again and has enabled me to get back to the sport I love!!
After several years of not exercising much because of too many muscle and joint problems I decided to join a gym and have a trainer work with my millions of issues. (I was born with holes in some tendons, and have muscle atrophy even on muscles I use regularly. I’ve been in physical therapy off an on since I was a small child.) I wanted to get my body in shape and figured a trainer would be a good route. After a mighty tough leg workout (the athletes out there would laugh at what I’m calling mighty tough) I thought, yoga might be a good thing to stretch and strengthen my muscles. So I limped into Sports Authority with an intent to by a new yoga mat. I picked one up and then passed a colorful display of KT Tape. It was on sale. I picked up a box read over it and thought it was probably too good to be true. I’d give it a try.
My legs healed on their own, but a week later after a good, but not too rough upper body work out my arms were a bit sore. Nothing I couldn’t handle. I went to work. Well after having an air conditioner blow on my neck and shoulders all day, I was in severe pain and barely able to move. I went home and got a friend to apply the tape. Instantly the pain went away and I could move again. After two days I even went to the gym and worked my arms. No problems.
Now my mom is complaining of muscle pain in her lower back. I suggested the tape. After two days of being in pain she agreed to see if some tape would help. As soon as I put that last strip on her pain went away. We’re telling everyone we know about this stuff: friends, family, other people at the gym, coworkers, etc.
Thank you, I now enjoy going to the gym and working out and am able to more than I thought I could thanks to the support of KT tape!!
I had seen KT tape on TV (used by Kerri Walsh). When I ran across the booth at a Denver Marathon expo- I was all over it! Bought some rolls and never looked back. Works wonders for my shin splints and any other ailment bothering me. I give samples to family and friends with issues too. We’re all believers. Thanks KT Tape!
I sprained my ankle for the first time in 20+ years, and was timid about starting to run again after resting if for a few weeks. A friend of mine through Team in Training said that KT Tape would do wonders– he even forwarded the link for how to tape a sprained ankle. That was two years ago, and I’ve completed numerous endurance events since– including a century ride, a half-iron distance triathlon, and a marathon. Now, every time I feel a twinge anywhere, I go straight to the KT Tape library on YouTube and start taping! I love all the colors– mostly I’m in TNT purple, GO TEAM!
one day i was watching a barclays premier league game between tottenham hotspur and anothr team that
i cant remember then i saw that gareth bale wore this thing on his leg so i started do some research first i started by asking some people what it was. i came to a conclusion that what he wire was kenosiology tape then i started doing research on kenoseiology tape and found out that kt tape was one of the best tapes to use so then i started buying and using kt tape to prevent my ankle for getting hurt more then what it is since kt tape also help prevent injuries
I first experienced KT Tape after suffering a muscle injury at work after fighting a fire. After several doctor visits and even a prescribed muscle relaxer with no results, I went to see if my Chiropractor could relieve my pain. He applied KT Tape and after the second day I noticed a huge relief in pain. I have told everyone at my fire station about KT Tape. It is also a necessity when I run and workout. Thank you KT Tape!
Olympics, women’s beach volleyball exposed me to KT Tape. I have many physical issues I’m hoping your product might help me with. I’m anxious to give it a try!
Learned about it from my physical therapist. Finally able to stand up straight without pain!
I first heard of KT tape at the Rock N Roll marathon Seattle Expo. I was there signed up to do my very first 1/2 marathon and was feeling pretty nervous since I had been nursing a shin splint injury for the last 2 month. I got taped up at the expo for preventative measures and completed my race with absolutly no pain in my leg and an hour under what I thought I would be able to do. I am in love with the stuff and will never run with out it again. I also tell everyone I know about KT tape.
A great friend of mine walked me right into Sports Authority and said you gotta by this stuff. So glad she did! And I have “passed it on” to thousands of people through my clinical teachings and work and my professional sport. BTW July 4th is my birthday!
I first *saw* KT Tape while watching tennis – I think the US Open – a year or so ago. Was all “What is that??” Then when I was preparing for the Disney Half Marathon, several people mentioned it. I got some a couple of months ago when my hamstring was bothering me, and I love it. Well, except it didn’t like my sweaty leg today during my run and came off. But I’m sure that’s an anomaly.
After several years of cycling and knee pains. I needed to do something to ease the pain. After seeing seeing KT in the Olympics a few years later I decided to give it a try. I use it Every time I go cycling. It has greatly reduced my pain. Found it at Sports Authority after your suggestion from your facebook page
I first saw KT Tape when my buddy walked into the gym one day with his shoulder taped up like a rainbow. His PT had wrapped his shoulder like a spiderweb in about 3 or 4 different colors and sent him out to put his shoulder through the ringer. He beat me in the workout that day with a busted shoulder so I knew I had to give it a shot the next time I wasn’t 100%. I’ve been hooked on the stuff ever since.
I learned about KT Tape on the net! I am a weightlifter and was searching for some relief for soreness during sessions due to workout frequency. A fellow metalhead had some workout log pictures sporting some tape. Lead me to investigate, and now I don’t exercise without knowing if my tape is ready, should I need it.
I first heard about KT Tape when they posted that they would be attending and taping the Illinois Marathon earlier this year. I was signed up not to run, but to bike the course as a safety monitor. My IT Bands had been giving me trouble when biking, so I thought I would go to the taping for my IT Bands. I was sadly too busy the night before the race with another volunteer position to get taped, but I stopped by and got info while I was there. The next day I biked 40 miles without any tape or bracing for my knees, but they were fine. To my surprise the problem I ran into was muscle spasms in my thighs-”charlie horses”. After the night before’s research, I went on to the KT tape facebook page and asked for a taping app for my pain (and the biking seems to have had a long term effect, my thigh is always tight now it seems) and Steve Baca was quick to reply with one, so a trip to my local running store to get some tape and soon I was taping my thigh. It worked perfectly and I still use the app when the pain gets bad.
I first heard about KT tape at the Rock & Roll Seattle marathon expo. I was worried about the race because of shin splints. The guys at the KT booth wrapped me up and I didn’t feel one bit of pain the entire run. This stuff ROCKS!
I got my knees taped at the Seattle Rock N Roll Marathon expo. It worked great for the race and I’m definitely a believer. My wife was a little concerned when she saw a guy shaving my legs though! lol
WHERE DID I 1ST LEARN ABOUT KT TAPE..
I start knowing bout this KT tape when I was searching for application technique of kinesiology tape on YouTube. Then, I found 1 video of application technique specially uploaded by LumosInc. After that i keep searching other application technique videos and I found these videos are very helping me since I’m a physiotherapist and I use kinesiology tape a lot for our school’s athlete/player. And now, I always refer to the KT Tape videos by LumosInc as my referrances. Now, we have 3rd ASEAN SCHOOL GAMES in Singapore and KT tape videos are my friend..
When my aunt offered to tape my knee for the first time, I didn’t know what to expect. When she took the KT Tape box out of her gym bag, I responded with “What is it?” Then, “Did you steal that?” She was offended. I had never seen her use it before, and she still doesn’t, but she’ll bring it for me and tape my knee when I run with her. But ONLY when I ran with her. I got hooked on KT tape then. She would never let me have hers, and we would argue over it since I needed it and she didn’t, so I ultimately ended up buying my own for when I run on my own. Oh, and she did in fact pay for hers.
I saw KT for the first time on some of the athletes at an all-comers track meet at Hayward Field two days ago, then I saw it on a rack at Sports Authority the next day and had to try it. I am 44yo and have severe arthritis in my knee that flares up from time to time and I am unable to walk without a brace. I find that KT gives me the support I need without my brace to get through the day and to do my regular workouts. It stays in place better than my brace and I can wear it when I swim (yea!!). Thank you for such an amazing product!
I first heard of kt tape when been treated for a rotator cuff injury. All I can say is thanks kt because now I can play sport again with the knowledge that my shoulder is supported
I was at a rock and roll marathon a few years ago and saw a bunch of people walking around with different colored tape on. And I was pretty confused i thought it might be a group. When i went to a booth to find something to help my knee a person told me to go find the kt booth and try that first. After walking around for what seemed like an hour i found a bunch of people in a line(no booth in sight) i asked what they were in line for they told me KT tape so i waited in line for a while
….i got up to the front and the guy asked whats wrong with my knee and what are my favorite colors…..as a gator fan he hooked me up with my colors. i finished a run for the first time in forever with no pain and no swelling….truly awesome!
I first found out about KT tape because I saw the men’s and women’s national water polo team wearing it. I then started doing research and have since found out KT tape is the best way someone can practice or perform with full potential without having to rely on medicine. It is for it naturalistic approach that I praise and use KT tape for when I am hurt but need to play the best sport of all time, water polo.
I first saw KT Tape at the USMC Marathon expo in Washington DC. There was quite the buzz on the floor when they announced free taping at the booth. By the time we got down to that end of the expo, the line was insane! I saw hundreds of runners the next day taped up for the run, everyone I spoke with raved about KT Tape!
I’m a rugby player and saw many professionals in the Super Rugby competition wearing this taping around them. They had all different color tape and I was interested.
I looked up the KT website and was about to order some off of Amazon when I saw some at a Sports Authority. I used it for some knee pain and my shin splints; and now I am hooked.
Check out Super Rugby (played in South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand) as they have a huge influence on the global game of rugby. I’m in San Francisco and picked up KT tape from them. True fact.
I have IT Band and runner’s knee problems.
My physical therapist taught me the McConnell Taping Method using Leukotape and Cover-Roll Stretch tape. The tape would start to come off once I started sweating so it quickly became useless during half and full marathons. It’s also very expensive.
I came across a KT Tape booth at the San Diego RocknRoll Marathon race expo a few years ago and decided to give it a try. I was expertly taped up and had NO pain during the race. The tape not only stayed put during the race but for several days after.
The support is fantastic and gives me the confidence to run long distances knowing I don’t have to worry about the tape falling off.
I love the new colors!
KT Tape is always in my race bag.
I first heard of KT Tape while I was on an Athletic training travel course in Germany. Our group of students were all Athletic training students from across the country. We were given a crash course on KT tape at a workshop where we learned quite a few different application techniques. I have been quite interested in learning as much as I can about KT tape because I find it more effective than other types of tapes for athletes and their injuries. I am actually taking a class in August to get certified in KT tape application. Really exciting stuff…..!!!!!
I first heard about KT on Facebook from a fellow triathlete who raved about it. I tried it and it really helped my IT band problems I have had in the past!
I learned of KT Tape from my Physical Therapist when I was being treated for running related issues of the gastroc on both sides. Love the colors, but I will always go with BLACK! I’ve since turned friends on to it too!
I am currently training for the Nike Women’s Half Marathon, and as a new runner the training was taking its toll on my left knee. I first heard of KT tape from my aunt who is also training and swore this product is a miracle worker. Besides her, I read the reviews online and all of them have highly recommended this product. I ordered my first roll neon pink KT tape last week and cannot wait for it to get here so I can get back to running pain free!
I got a small pack of KT tape in my goodie bag two years ago at the San Francisco marathon. Wasn’t sure what to do with it so just stored it away. Kept getting some free packs in my next few goodie bags so decided to try and figure out how I could use it. I wear a brace on one knee so I tryed using the tape instead and was so happy! A lot easier to wear, felt lighter and braced my knee great. Plus the fun colors! I love the way it feels and use it for everything now.
On an especially wounded and over-trained day, I was browsing the brace section of Sports Authority when a sales associate asked if he could help me find anything? Jokingly I said, I was looking for duct tape for humans. When he said “It’s right over there.” and pointed to a KT Tape display, I tried not to act surprised and out of curiosity I bought a roll. After that, I was hooked.
I first saw KT tape on Kerry Walsh’s shoulder. When i was researching ways to support my knee after tearing my meniscus on stage during an opera, KT tape came up. have been using KT taoe daily to support that knee for two years -KT tape keeps me mobile. without the tape i am sidelined after an hour. with the amount of travelling i do, KT tape is my salvation.
when plantar fascitits reared up last fall -KT tape to the rescue. using a combimation of plantar fadcitis sandals, kt tape, and massage -no more plantar fascitis
thanks kt tape
My husband hurt his knee, and we were googling “natural remedies”. What we read fascinated us. Personally, I’m experimenting with using KT -tape for my headaches! Thanks, KT!
KT tape has helped me continue training through some mild strains and tendinitis, and probably prevented worse injuries, and still taking enough pressure off the injured tissues to allowing healing. It keeps me going.
I wrenched my knee badly, and learned about KT-Tape on youtube. What great videos–I bought the tape with confidence that I could tape myself correctly. Thank you!
I was having problems with tennis elbow. A friend told me about KT Tape and I used it. It was AMAZING! I’m sold!
My chiropractor introduced me to KT Tape about 2 years ago for injuries and of all things, migraines. It is his go to and now mine for my entire family. KT Tape was the first thing he used on my knee after injury in March, with a big thumbs up from Ortho and Rehab Specialist and first and most important purchased for my July 4th 5K; first one since release from DL last week. Results: a PB and top 10 in age group. KT(aka Magical Miracle)Tape held strong and worked its magic. I was so excited to find it at Big 5 Sporting Goods with sectioned strips for ease of independent application.

I’ve been active in sports all of my life, but have had various injuries too. I first found out about KT tape while watching tennis on the tube years ago and possibly the iron man. I then turned 39 and have used your product ever since I began getting sore knees from running; injured biceps from lifting weights, but it really works with injuries sustained while practicing martial arts. With KT tape I can shorten the time needed to stay off the mats or needing to use pain medicine. My wife is the one that has to apply it, since it is generally, somewhere on my side or back, and we review your videos before application (now), but used to review the pdf instructions years ago – or the instructions that came in the box. Getting old is tough when you want to be active like myself (now almost 43), and try new sports, KT tape is key. I tell everyone I can about its benefits and uses. I can’t wait to try the pro tape since I just injured my obliques practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and hate to redo the tape every day or two. Thanks again KT tape!
