Marketing Communications Manager

We are seeking a seasoned marketing professional with an extensive background in brand PR, corporate communications, content marketing, sports marketing, grassroots concepts, event production, and creating cohesive marketing plans for business growth and opportunities. This person will play a leading role in crafting the strategic vision and managing day-to-day execution with internal teams and outside creative and PR agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the content creation roadmap and calendar.
• Manage PR agency activities to drive media impressions for print, TV, radio and online.
• Manage event presence selection, onsite execution, and reporting.

Critical Qualifications:

• 7+ years experience leading brand-building marketing communications.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, think conceptually, execute effectively, work under constant deadline pressure.
• Demonstrated strong ability to manage multiple projects in parallel and prioritize against both urgent and important assignments.
• Proven effectiveness in working with field sales, executives, marketers and development to gain insight at support and key stages of development.
• Exceptional writing skills: product collateral, web, social web, programs.
• Demonstrated exceptional cross-group collaboration skills.
• Project Management experience in a highly independent, but collaborative environment.
• Able to travel to events and meet with contracted agencies.
• BA/BS in communications, marketing or related discipline preferred.
