KT Tape super athlete and two-time Leadville 100 Champion/record holder Rebecca Rusch is a now a movie star. She is featured in the 2010 Race Across the Sky film which chronicles the intense Leadville Trail 100 race, which Rebecca won and crushed the women’s course record (a record she set the previous year).

KT Tape sponsored athlete and beach volleyball powerhouse Kerri Walsh is back, and better than ever! The two time Olympic Gold medalist won her 39th career SWATCH FIVB World Tour gold medal with partner Nicole Branagh taking home the $190,000 purse at the Phuket Thailand Open powered by PTT.

KT Tape was recently featured on Uncooped.com’s Gear Review. The reviewer says, “after the first mile, my old knee felt like my young knee did!”

This November 15-18 the IRRA (Independent Running Retailers Association) will hold their annual Running Event. This conference, expo and 5k run, help support the efforts of the IRRA. The IRRA promotes the interests of independently owned and operated specialty running stores across the country.

At the KT Tape taping station at the Marine Corps Marathon, we taped the IT Bands of Chris Hatton. Chris is a member of Back On My Feet and is the first member to run a marathon. Back on My feet is a nonprofit organization that promotes the self-sufficiency of the homeless population by engaging them in running as a means to build confidence, strength and self-esteem.

KT Tape is regular tool in the education and teachings at the Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX so we are always happy to support the students in anyway we can. On November 20 PCC will be hosting a 5K Wellness Challenge and fun run to help raise money for participating students’ trip to Washington DC to attend the National Chiropractic Legislative Conference.

KT Tape will be at the San Antonio Rock and Roll Marathon Expo on Friday November 12th from 11 am – 7pm and Saturday November 13th from 9 am – 5pm. The Health and Fitness Expo will be held at the Alamodome at 100 Montana St.

KT Tape has partnered with Parker Chiropractic for the Dallas Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure event. The event is being held November 4-6. Parker Chiropractic is the official chiropractic partner for the event and will offer free taping, provided by KT Tape, for the participants.

Dr. Steven Shoshany will be joining KT Tape at the New York Road Runners booth at the NYC Marathon Expo Thursday November 4-6. We are excited to have Dr. Shoshany with us for the Expo taping up runners and doing demos before the big race.

Back in September Team Skimble approached KT Tape to help in their efforts with their event Rock the Steps in San Francisco, a fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Of course we were more than happy to provide tape to the team as well as some boxes to be used in raffles and giveaways.
