Like pretty much everyone else, we here at KT Tape are excited for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics to kick off this coming Friday, February 12. Watching the world’s best athletes compete on the largest stage is worth the wait. Some of our team will be traveling to Vancouver to be there in person, but the rest of us will be glued to our TVs when the Olympic Flame finally makes its way to the Opening Ceremony.
To help commemorate the 2010 Games, KT Tape decided to sponsor a few of the 12,000 Olympic Torchbearers. So, stay tuned for guest blog posts from those runners.
This year, the Olympic Torch Relay lasted more than 100 days, with stops at more than 1,000 Canadian communities along the way. Together, the torchbearers traveled more than 45,000 kilometers across Canada; the longest relay within a single country in history. Check out an interactive map of the torch’s progress across Canada by clicking here.
