  2. Tips & Tricks: How to get your tape to stick better

    Do you sweat a lot?  Do you live in an area with a lot of humidity?  KT Tape is specially designed to withstand the elements and stay on for the long haul.  However, sometimes humidity and high temperatures or oily/sweaty skin can prevent the tape from adhering like it normally does.  We’d like to offer a trick to use when applying our tape to help it stick better:

    Before applying our tape, try prepping the skin first with rubbing alcohol.  Rubbing alcohol helps to remove unseen dirt and oils.  By applying rubbing alcohol, you give the tape a clean, fresh area to stick to. Once the area has been cleaned, you’re ready to apply the tape. We recommend using this trick before any application, but it will be especially helpful for those who sweat a lot or who live in very humid areas.
