Mia Manganello Kilburg

Mia Manganello Kilburg
At the age of eight, Mia started inline skating, but she switched over to the ice just five years later in order to chase her Olympic dream. Following the 2010 Olympic Trials, Mia chose to take a break from speed skating and found a new passion for cycling where she raced professionally for five years before returning to speed skating in early 2016.
In 2018, Mia qualified for the Winter Olympics in three events and came home from PyeongChang with a Bronze medal in the Team Pursuit. Now four years later, Mia is one of the most decorated U.S. long distance speed skaters; Mia also holds the American Record in the 3000m. After collecting a Gold and two Silver medals at the 2022 U.S. Olympic Team Trials, Mia is aiming to step onto a few podiums in Beijing.
