We are excited to welcome Ryan Wright as our newest KT Tape sponsored athlete. Ryan is currently one of the most dominant players in the Taiwan Super Basketball League, and is the current league Slam Dunk and Scoring Champion.
The 6’9″ 240 pound forward from Toronto, Canada currently leads the Taiwan Super Basketball League (SBL) in scoring at 19.3 points per game, a 54% field goal average, and ranks second in rebounding at 12.9 rebounds per game. Wright also placed top ten in both blocks and in steals at 1.0bpg and 1.5spg respectively.
Demonstrating his love for the sport Wright also quickly developed into a fan favorite despite being the youngest import in the league, as he became the 2012 SBL Slam Dunk Champion and Scoring Champion.
His college career panned out at two very successful programs at UCLA and Oklahoma where he competed in two Final Fours and an Elite Eight. Ryan Wright looks to join many of his former college teammates -such as Blake Griffin and Russell Westbrook – to take his game to the next level in the NBA.
So keep your eye on Ryan Wright as he continues to be one of the premier international basketball stars and you just might see him in the NBA in the future.

Blake Griffin was never his teammate. Griffin went to school in Oklahoma LOL.
I’m happy for him though, doing it big for Canada.
He went to school at Oklahoma as well as UCLA.
I remember playing against this mans at OBA london he was a beast when he was 14 and is even more so today. Yes he came off the bench for blake griffin and prolly gave him mad props
