KT Tape for Arthritis

arthritisWe all know KT Tape isn’t just for athletes. It has many practical uses for everyday aches and pains as well.  Back pain, foot pain and other day-to-day maladies can be treated with KT Tape.

This time of year, winter’s harsh temperatures can make arthritis and other joint issues particularly painful.  To help ease the pain and promote blood circulation, KT Tape can be applied to the affected joints.

Though KTTape.com has a plethora of applications for specific injuries,  arthritis pain can be very specialized, so we recommend finding a local KT Tape clinician to consult with about the best way to tape for your personal arthritis pain.   Let KT Tape help and don’t let winter arthritis slow you down.

The one thing I cannot find is how to tape up shoulders with osteoarthritis (little or no cartiledge). Would it be the same as you would for RA? My doctor says the stronger I can be before having shoulder replacement surgery, the better I will recover. Thanks for your help.

I’m 17 I found out I have degenerate arthritis in my neck when I was 16 this causes pain through my shoulder down my arm and into my hands sometimes causing my hand to go numb. I was wondering if the KT tape would help with the pain?

I have osteoarthritis in the lower outside quadrant of my right knee. I am 67 years old and walk about 7 miles up and down small hills with sloped fairways about 3 times a week when I golf. Would KT tape be appropriate to reduce pain and swelling? If so, how should I apply?

I am 19 and I’ve been diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis and my knees have just been killing me lately to the point where I don’t want to stand but it hurts to even relax, it’s just an on going pain that I cannot get away from and want to try anything that will help without injecting myself with hormones or taking pills.

Thank you for asking. KT Tape helps with muscle, ligament, and tendon support. KT Tape can be a great tool in helping relieve arthritis pain but cannot prevent arthritis. The support that KT Tape gives can slow down the deterioration process but not stop it.
