New to Running? Try the Couch-to-5K Program
JANUARY 03, 2011
Its the New Year, and that means making some changes. For athletes who are already training, it may mean mixing up the routine or vowing to run a better marathon this year. But for a lot of people, making a serious exercise goal can be scary.
This past summer we told you about the program created by CoolRunning.com called the Couch-to-5K Running Plan. The program is designed to help newbie runners ease themselves into a regular running routine and eventually be able to race a 5K within two months. This is a great resource for people who want to get out and be active but arent sure how to go about it.
Sure there are bound to be some aches and pains along the way for a newbie runner, but that is what KT Tape therapeutic athletic tape is for, right?! For all those shin splints, runners knee and sore feet, be sure to keep KT Tape on hand. So if you or someone you know is looking to start running this New Year, suggest the Couch-to-5K Running Plan. Don't forget the KT Tape, and well get you from off the couch and out running.
